    Description: Youth In Harmony Festival
For the first time since the Covid-era, Youth in Harmony is back!  But that's not the only big first this year.  Youth in Harmony is now an all-voices event, open to all genders.  We will have an SSAA group, a TTBB group, and they will learn an SATB number together.  Students and teachers will come away with a vast array of new barbershop songs, ideas, and methods.  And they'll enjoy a great show featuring not only our guest teaching quartets, but local favorites FreshF, who got their start as a quartet at our 2019 event.  Everything from the workshop to the 3:30 concert is free, so come enjoy some fun, impressive, inspiring music.

Our clinician is Christopher Loftin.  Dr. Christopher Loftin is an 11-year barbershop singer and is an active member of the Music City Chorus (2022 BHS Chorus Champions). He has served as an assistant director, music team member, choreography leader, and visual coach for several choruses, including the Belleville, IL Sounds of Harmony and the St. Charles, MO Ambassadors of Harmony. Christopher is an active barbershop performance and singing coach and clinician. Christopher recently received his PhD in Choral Music Education from Auburn University and is in his 17th year of K-12 teaching. Christopher and his wife, MK, reside in Mountain Brook, Alabama, with their cat, Leopold.

Our guest SSAA teaching quartet is Endeavour Quartet are from Columbus, Ohio and are members of Sweet Adelines International.  They are the Region 4 champions and recently placed eighth in the world in the 2023 international quartet competition.  You can enjoy them here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnmlBxFMO1s

Our guest TTBB teaching quartet is Ad Hoc, composed of barbershop singers from the Cincinnati and Chicago areas and formed specially for this youth event.  They are active section leaders with extensive experience teaching at youth workshops.
A special thank you to for their partial sponsorship of this event.
